PENNY FOR YOUR THOUGHT.

So I am about to share one new thing I have learnt. I learnt that sex is not an abomination that should be done in the dark or a mystery that we shouldn't ever talk about! It is created by God meant not only for procreation but also for pleasure and should be enjoyed within the boundaries he has set.

I have also learnt that parents teaching their children about sex would help demystify the  curiosity about it,prepare them for times when they would have to make certain decisions on their own and also make them look forward to it,reduce the effect of peer pressure, minimize the secrecy often associated with youthful relationships which often times may result in grievous mistakes.

Lastly, does it guarantee 100% success? I don't know but it can guarantee your peace of mind knowing that you have done your best, leave the rest to God!

So what have learnt in the past that you are willing to un learn?

PENNY FOR YOUR THOUGHT(1)

Have you ever noticed that our level  of curiosity tend to shoot up when we are asked not to touch or do something?
Imagine, you come back home extremely hungry and as you enter the house, you perceive delicious aroma wafting through the kitchen. You are already salivating in anticipation ,only to be given a stern warning that is likely to attract heavy punishment,  not to touch the food!

Imagine your frustration each time your stomach rumble, you look at the food, yet you can not eat it!
The world is a stage, so is human development. In each of  this stage ,we are expected to LEARN or UNLEARN somethings that will push us successfully unto the next one; unfortunately, we either learn half the information or we learn the the wrong one or we don't learn at all! sometimes we learn the life lessons accurately and then we are pushed on to the next phase of our life. This process continues until we get to that phase where we begin to make decisions on our own, suddenly, we find out we know little or nothing about  what we are supposed to do. We then begin to depend on information we glean from others which may not rightly suit our present situation.

The good news about this, is that we never grow old in learning. For us to be able to move on from past mistakes and hurts,we have to go back deep into the years of traditions, ideas, attitudes, ideals, environmental perceptions that WRONGLY shaped us,allowed us to have stereotyped and contorted ideas and belief system that we have held on to from our earliest years till now some of us are adults. It isn't going to be easy trying to unlearn some of the thing we thought were right because they were imposed on us or we learnt them ourselves, it might even look like a betrayal  of ourselves or our parents or even our environment, but like the proverbial wine skin. if we continue with our very old wine skins of how things should be done; then BOOM! you go like a volcano when your very old wine skin can't take in some new and fresh wine.

Lastly can we make conscious effort to learn new things? you may not know until we give it a try! next I would be sharing some of the things I have learnt.

PERSONALITY AND RELATIONAL TRAITS PART 3 and 4.

2.) LIVELY(Sanguine):They are the happy go lucky people who always seem to care less. They have plenty friends because they make them without much effort. They are the life of a party, chatter boxes, likes bright colours and their fashion sense like them can be loud. They are too dramatic, become emotional all too easily, can be fake too.
These group of people like gists and gossip, takes life the way it comes, can tell you make up stories which they often forget they told you themselves. They are full of laughter and positive outlook to life which often hides the fact that so many of them basically have complex issues which often leads them to comparing people's sucess, Fashion, house, love, finances, relationships etc. These extroverted persons can forgive on the spot! They also love the spotlight, and can do anything just to be noticed and are not easily intimidated!

4)TACTICAL :These group are critical thinkers and  analysers. Their melancholy nature is mainly due to their perceptions about life being perfect. Unlike the lively group, they are more of listeners than talkers, their non too cheerful disposition makes people to often percieve them as snobs. They are often very emotional  which they often mask with their reserved nature.
These group can be lively amongst people they are comfortable with and their dress sense is mostly conservative. They are careful and intentional people especially in making decisions which makes them accurate most times. They love cool and very calm environment .
In relationships, they take their time to examine people. Sometimes for them to open up takes patience and persistence but once they do,they make great and dependable friends and may stick with you for life!
The downside of these group of people is that they doubt themselves and their abilities a lot.

Don't be so uptight, relax, take the tests and appreciate yourself better! TICK THE BOX THAT SUITS YOUR PERSONALITY CORRECTLY.

QUESTION 1.                                                                                                                                           I am attracted to things that are charming (A)

I am always self disciplined(C)
I always act intentionally(D)

I am simple(C)
I am obstinate(D)

QUESTION 3
I know I am strict(A)

I know I am friendly(C)
I know I talk a lot(D)

QUESTION 4

QUESTION V
I like to argue(A)
I entertain doubts(B)
I am indecisive(C)
I am unpredictable(D)

There are about 20 questions in all, so we are going take them bits by bits. Get a notebook, build four columns with the number 1,2,3,4. On the heading, draw a line demarcating each column. By the side of column 1, make a box and write Q1 ie question 1, Q2 , Q3, Q4,etc in  a vertical manner, go to column 2 and repeat. The same process goes for 3 and 4. If you have done that successfully, good job! If your answer is B in question 1, tick B in column 1, If your answer is A in question 2, tick A in column 2. If your answer to question 3 is B, tick B in column 4 and if your answer is D in question 4, tick D in column 3. Tedious? Just follow the instructions, it gets better.

If you got the steps, it should look like the table below which has been provided as a guide. Note that you only have an answer to a question so you are to tick only a column in answering all the questions.
Different people have different answers to the same questions. E.g. in the table below, my answer to question 1 is B so I tick B in column 1 while another person's answer could be D in the same question, so they will tick D in column 3. It goes like that for all the questions.

Hope it wasn't too hard? just keep your notebook safe until we calculate your score.
